There’s another verse from the Jonathan/David story that could be interpreted as a bros before hos message: “Your love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.” Or it could be read as homoerotic. Whichever. :) I think people waste entirely too much time trying to find verses that prove themselves wrong or right in the Bible, rather than trying to glean the overarching messages, which has little to do with pointing fingers at people…
